To add choices using the bulk editor:

  1. Add or click on the question you want to add choices to.
  2. Click on the Bulk button underneath choices in the palette.
  3. If you want to use a preset, select it from the preset drop down.
  4. If you want to add your own, add them in the large text box, each option on a new line. If you want to save your options for later, enter a name where it says Enter a name to save as custom:. In the future, your list can be selected from the preset drop down.
  5. To add scores a score to your answer choice, list it on the same line as the option text, separated by a |. For example “Russia | 2.0”.
  6. You can also include the options static , other or other_required to a line to make the option static (will not be reordered if random or alphabetic ordering is set on the question) or give it an open text “other” box, use the other_required option to make this box required if the answer choice is selected. So a line reading “Russia | other_required | 2.0 | static” creates an answer choice labeled “Russia” that remains in a static position and has an other open text field next to it that is required when the choice is selected.
  7. Click ok.
