The Picture question type allows respondents to choose one image from among a group of images.
To set up a picture question:
- Drag and drop a picture question from the Advanced Questions section of the palette to the canvas.
- Phrase your question in the Question Title and optionally add an Extra Description.
- By default the question has two choices. To add your image to one of these choices, click the choice and enter your Image URL or click Select to use a file uploaded to your library. You can also change the choice label, make it a Static Choice, give it a Score, or Code.
- Configure Display options. See below for details.
- Save your survey.
|Show Label||Adds your labels to your choices.|
|Show Radio Button||Adds a radio button to each image. Without this respondents will click on the image itself to choose it.|
|Max height||The max height for each image. You need to add “px” or “%” after the number to specify image height in pixels or percent (e.g., 100px, 30%).|
|Max Width||The max width for each image. You need to add “px” or “%” after the number to specify image width in pixels or percent (e.g., 100px, 30%).|
|Appearance||Select how you would like your pictures to be arranged, Horizontal or Default (vertical).|
|Display side-by-side||Displays the question on one half of the screen. In order for two questions to display side-by-side, you’ll have to enable this option for both questions. The first question will be on the left and the second on the right.|
|Append to previous question||Use this to make this question appear as if it’s part of the previous question.|
|Optional||Makes question optional. Uncheck to make it required.|
|Randomize choices||Shows answer choices a random order per respondent. Choices that are Static will not be affected by this setting.|
|Alphabetize choices||Shows answer choices in alphabetical order of choice label. Choices that are Static will not be affected by this setting.|
|Initial Value||Select an answer choice to be preselected.|
