IMPORTANT! As of December 15, 2017, FluidSurveys will no longer be accessible.

FluidSurveys was acquired by SurveyMonkey in the summer of 2014. FluidSurveys is proud to be part of SurveyMonkey and committed to helping you make better decisions with data.

As of December 15, 2017, FluidSurveys no longer allows users to log in at FluidSurveys.com. All data on FluidSurveys will be purged and completely deleted by February 2018.

We highly recommend using SurveyMonkey for all of your survey needs. Please view the following FAQs and the SurveyMonkey Help Center to answer any additional questions.

Your FluidSurveys Account & Data

How long can I keep access to my FluidSurveys account?

As of Dec 15, 2017 you will no longer be able to access FluidSurveys.

Was my FluidSurveys data moved to SurveyMonkey or the United States?

No. Your FluidSurveys data was not migrated out of FluidSurveys or outside of Canada. All data will be deleted by February 2018.

Since FluidSurveys stored their data in Canada, can I request that my SurveyMonkey data be stored outside the US?

SurveyMonkey is working on an Canadian data center. While you are not able to request data storage in Canada yet, you can read more on our Canadian Data Centre.

What happened to my live surveys on FluidSurveys?

All live surveys will be closed as of Dec. 15, 2017 and deleted by February 2018. If someone tries to access a survey on FluidSurveys, they will see a standard closed message:

The survey you are trying to take is either not live or not available to you.

 

How can I be sure that my data on FluidSurveys was deleted?

All data will be deleted by February 2018. Please reach out to the FluidSurveys team for more information at support@fluidsurveys.com.

I have a Whitelabel or Enterprise FluidSurveys account, when will that close?

There are some instances of FluidSurveys that will remain open into early 2018. Please reach out to your account manager for your specific downgrade and deletion dates.

Please note that we are not able to add or upgrade any accounts to the FluidSurveys Whitelabel server or extend access.

Are SurveyMonkey surveys mobile responsive? Can I add them to a mobile app?

Yes. SurveyMonkey surveys are mobile responsive, and optimized for desktop, tablet and mobile resolutions on Android and iOS devices. We also offer a mobile SDK if you are interested in adding surveys to your Android or iOS mobile app.

Can I create a multilingual survey using SurveyMonkey?

Can I create a survey using a template?

SurveyMonkey has designed survey templates for most topics. Our survey templates are written by experts and completely customizable, so you can edit our sample survey questions or add new ones. By using one of our sample survey templates, you’ll get actionable data you can count on.

Can I use a survey panel service like Cint to buy responses?

SurveyMonkey Audience allows you to buy survey responses for any survey you create on SurveyMonkey. You can target respondents based on specific attributes, like gender, age, income, employment status, and more to get answers from the people whose opinions you need.

Does SurveyMonkey offer 3rd Party Integrations or an API?

SurveyMonkey integrates with over 30 popular platforms and applications including Marketo, Zapier, Zendesk, and MailChimp just to name a few. Check out a full listing. We also offer a REST-based API if you are interested in creating a custom application.

Can I create a quiz with scoring on SurveyMonkey?

Yes. You can use SurveyMonkey to make quizzes.

Does SurveyMonkey support Offline or Kiosk mode surveys?

SurveyMonkey does not yet support ‘Offline’ mode. For some collector types, you can turn on Multiple Responses if you want people to take the survey more than once or if you plan to have respondents answering your survey on shared computers, like in a kiosk or computer lab. You can also use kiosk mode in our iOS or Android app, to set up a survey taking station using a mobile device.

How can I track or share my responses using SurveyMonkey?

SurveyMonkey offers a number of ways to track survey respondents and when you send your survey via email invitation, each recipient receives a unique survey link that ties their survey response to their email address, which you can see when analyzing your results. SurveyMonkey also offers Platinum customers the ability to add custom variables to survey URLs.

Survey Alerts email you a daily overview of your survey responses. We don’t send individual email notifications to you or to respondents after every survey is completed. To be notified each time you get a response, you can use SurveyMonkey’s Integration with Zapier or use SurveyMonkey’s API to set up webhooks.

You can share reports online through a public or password protected link and export your responses into a variety of formats: PDF, XLS, CSV, and SPSS. SurveyMonkey also has a number of partner Integrations that allow you to analyze and visualize your survey responses.

Does SurveyMonkey offer a White Label experience? How can I brand my surveys?

Some paid plans off the ability to choose the domain research.net to create a White Label URL for your survey. We also offer the ability to customize your survey with your own branding. You may create a custom URL ending to make the link more relevant to your survey and respondents.

SurveyMonkey doesn’t support vanity URLs or custom subdomains for individual accounts at this time.

If you are on any SurveyMonkey paid plan you can create a custom theme for your surveys. You can also add a logo to surveys. At this time, you can’t use CSS to customize the look of your survey.

Does SurveyMonkey offer seats or teams?

Yes. SurveyMonkey offers teams. If you’re interested in a team of more than 3 users then please contact our Sales team.

How do I add multiple users or seats in SurveyMonkey?

When you create a team, you become the Primary Admin and your entire team gains access to team collaboration features, like Sharing Surveys and Library. You can invite people to join your team via email, or you can create a team sign-up page where people in your organization can send invites to themselves to join.

Does SurveyMonkey offer SSO, Single Sign On?

Yes. If you’re interested in enabling Single Sign-On (SSO) for your Team, then please contact our Sales team.

Does SurveyMonkey allow me to choose the access level or permissions for team members?

If you are a Primary Admin in an Enterprise team, you may assign each member of the team an Admin or User role. If you share a survey within a team, you can set different permissions for survey access.

 

Security & Compliance

Where are SurveyMonkey servers located and how are they secured?

SurveyMonkey servers are located in the United States and Canada. Our information systems infrastructure (servers, networking equipment, etc.) is collocated at third party SSAE 16/SOC 2 audited data centers. We own and manage all of our equipment located in those data centers. Our data centers are staffed and surveilled 24/7. Access is secured by security guards, visitors logs, and entry requirements such as passcards and biometric recognition. Our equipment is kept in locked cages. Does SurveyMonkey offer SSL for secure data collection?

SSL Is available on all SurveyMonkey plans. Users can determine whether to collect survey responses over secure, encrypted SSL/TLS connections. All other communications with the surveymonkey.com website are sent over SSL/TLS connections. Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and Transport Layer Security (TLS) technology (the successor technology to SSL) protect communications by using both server authentication and data encryption. This ensures that user data in transit is safe, secure, and available only to intended recipients. Read more about SSL encryption.

Is SurveyMonkey HIPAA compliant?

Yes. SurveyMonkey is considered “HIPAA Compliant” meaning we offer a service that enables covered entities to collect and manage PHI through surveys in a manner compliant with HIPAA. As part of offering this service, SurveyMonkey ensures that it operates in a way that is consistent and compatible with those laws and SurveyMonkey’s role as a business associate to a covered entity user. Are SurveyMonkey surveys accessible to people with disabilities?

You can use SurveyMonkey to create accessible surveys that are compliant with Section 508 standards. Section 508 is a United States federal law that requires that all electronic and information technology used by the federal government be accessible to people with disabilities. SurveyMonkey Billing & Support

What payment methods does SurveyMonkey accept?

The payment methods available to you depend on the plan type and billing country. You’ll see a list of all the payment methods available to you after you choose the country on the SurveyMonkey checkout page. A full list of supported payment methods can be found here.

Do subscriptions auto-renew?

For your convenience, SurveyMonkey pro and team plan subscriptions auto-renew by default to ensure you don’t lose access to pro features at your next billing date. Auto-renew may be disabled at anytime from with the account billing settings. Read more about renewals.

Where can I add new or updated billing information?

Billing information including new and past invoices, as well as payment information is stored within your account in the Billing Details console. Read more about billing details.
